The Chim-Scan’s digital SD card recorder provides 640 X 480 imagery, ready to be seen on a computer screen or sent directly to a computer printer. Plus, there aren’t any other cables or power supplies to add.
Just plug into the Chim-Scan® controller, then plug the other end into the camera cable and you’re ready to go. The power, "video in", and "video out" issues are already switched, so the images projected onto the LCD screen or older monitor is done. Press the mode button to view the images you’ve taken to be sure they’re what you need and the photos are ready for the computer or printer. The unit holds an SD card up to a 2G, with plenty of room for your photos.
This unit can be added to older Chim-Scan® built since 1995. An additional LED light may need to be added to the older units. Or can be added into the Series 200 controller, ready to take photos of the chimney interior.
